Whoo boy, I haven't been keeping up with my blog, like at all! Well, I'm home with a cold today so I figured I'd dust off the proverbial typewriter and get to writin'. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and all that jazz. No, it's not snowing as the banner image would suggest— it's just a neat photograph I took over the holidays. Can't remember when it snowed, but that's two years in a row which is incredibly unusual for central Georgia.

Anyway, what have I been up to? Mostly not riding my bike with the weather as cold as it's been. It finally warmed up enough to ride it a few times last week, but we're back to cold weather this week before Spring makes its proper debut. Been hanging out with a bunch of friends we've made a lot— playing board games, going to trivia nights, sharing home-cooked meals, that sort of thing. I didn't know I needed this in my life, but I'm so glad to have fallen into a friend group. We're planning all sorts of adventures together and it just makes my heart feel full, y'know?

Usually in early January, I put together a sort of "new year's resolution" post, but it appears I've missed the starting line on that one. I don't really have any goals per se— just live well, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the journey. And I'm definitely doing the last part of that in spades, even on my sick days like this one.
