another flat tire!

Ack! I got another dang flat on my bicycle. The first with my new set of *ahem* flat-resistant Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires. This time, it looks to be a piece of wire brush that went straight into the inner tube, circumventing the reinforced band in the center part of the tire:

Anyway, I got the thing fixed and made my way back home. Today marks the fifth day of bicycle commuting this week and my legs are sore. I almost took a break today to give my legs a rest, but I persevered and got a fluke of a flat tire as a treat. 😅

In other news, I'm giving the Kagi search engine a spin. So far, so good! It's basically the bang syntax of DuckDuckGo plus actually relevant search results that seem to do a good job of omitting the SEO spam you see all over Google these days. They've also got a small web link stumbler thingie for discovering noncommercial websites that's pretty fun to play with.
