stomach bug.

Kiddos came to spend the weekend with me Saturday, and the younger one got violently ill that night. Turns out we've a bit of a stomach bug making the rounds and it seems to have an incubation period on the order of three or four days. Coparent and her fiancée both came down with it this weekend, too.

My partner took her to the urgent care place as soon as it opened Sunday morning and my coparent's folks brought her home to take care of her. I've been working from home these last couple of days just in case we wind up catching it, too. I'd rather not pass it on to my whole office.

bad luck with the bike.

I was washing my bike Saturday morning and accidentally dropped the bike. The rim hit the edge of our flowerbed and looks like it bent a little. Now the front brake catches the rim sporadically. I ordered a spoke wrench and it should be coming in today. Found a video explaining how to true a bike wheel, so hopefully I'm able to get that done and maybe get back to commuting Thursday if we're still healthy then, knock on wood.
