ingredients.
- 1 1/2 cups of margarine.
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
- 8 oz. package of cream cheese.
- 2 eggs.
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of grated lemon peel.
- 4 1/2 cups of flour.
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
- fruit preserves.
- powdered sugar.
preparation.
- Combine margarine, sugar, and cream cheese.
- Blend eggs, juice, and lemon peel.
- Add flour and baking powder. Mix well.
- Chill for several hours.
- Shape level tablespoon into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten slightly, indent center, and fill with preserves.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
